power pixie. pint-sized leading lady. spitfire. wild child. terminator…
… just some of the monikers I’ve acquired over the years.
Never content to be your garden variety, sweet-faced ingenue,
I’ve built a reputation for creating strong, unexpectedly layered and complex characters, with a special gift for finding the delirious lunacy that lurks in them all.
Passion for the transformative and three-dimensional power of words fires all my work – classic, contemporary, and developmental.
Classically trained at SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts MFA program, my love for the rich language plays of Shaw, Shakespeare, Molière – and modern counterparts like Stoppard, Mamet and Ives –runs deep in my veins and across all disciplines: theatre, film, television, voiceover and coaching. Language is just so. damn. delicious.
Since childhood, I’ve traded on my innate ability to please the teachers and get away with murder.
A goody two-shoes with a slightly demented streak.
The badly behaved Valedictorian…or Victorian.
Polite, well-spoken, yet somehow…dangerous.
Oh, I look sweet.
